Rep. Kevin Boyle to host National Night Out event Aug. 1, 2023 – State Rep. Kevin Boyle will host a National Night Out event, with family fun and information for all, from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday Aug. 1 at Fox Chase Elementary School Yard. There will be free giveaways, free food and more. The 2nd Police District will host a community bike ride at 5:15 p.m. Ride participants will be eligible to win a new bicycle. The drawings for the new bicycles will be held immediately following the ride, around 5:45 p.m. National Night Out, a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships, was first held in 1984. The first National Night Out involved 2.5 million neighbors across 400 communities in 23 states. It has grown to include tens of millions of neighbors in thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide Boyle and his staff will be on hand during the event at the Fox Chase Elementary School Yard, 500 Rhawn St., Philadelphia, PA 19111, to answer questions about and help with state government related programs. Town Watch is a completely safe and rewarding way to support our neighborhood, learn about policing standards and to meet some great people dedicated to preserving Fox Chase. While a monthly commitment is desirable you can patrol whenever your schedule allows. Let's preserve our community and keep everyone safe.
