How to Register!
To register for any sport with the Fox-Rok Athletic Association go to www.foxrokaa.com and click on “Register” that is located in the upper right hand corner of our home page. You will then need to click on “Create New Account or “Login” if you have already created an account. As a reminder, you must first have an account before you can register your child/children. The process is easy.
Once you have created an account, you then need to list your child/children before you can choose a program to play in. Select “Add Participant.” Enter the child’s name and complete all of the required fields. If you have more children to register, don’t select “Next.” Select “Add Another Participate.” Once you have added all of your children you should select “Next.”
After you have entered all of your children only then will the system allow you to select the available program for that child or children. Make your selection. Continue to complete the necessary fields until you have completed your order. Registration payments are made with MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express online at time of registration. You will receive an email confirmation after you have successfully completed the process.
After the first time you register your child/children the system will remember your information! You will only need to update a few lines as opposed to starting from scratch when registering for all other Fox-Rok sports.
Please note, if you want to coach or volunteer in any way you must create an account online and state your interest. The program is set up to ask if you have a desire to volunteer and in what role.
To get on the mailing list you must create an account online.
If you experience any difficulties in registering and require assistance, please call 866.981.2583 during normal business hours. After hearing the prompt press 2. Tell them that you are a parent trying to register your child for basketball with the Fox-Rok Athletic Association.
Concerning Registrations!
Registration cutoff dates are established mainly to ensure that uniforms and the necessary equipment needs can be identified and ordered in time to be received before the start of the playing season. This is the case for each sport offering at Fox-Rok A.A. Occasionally we have situations where we may require additional players to prevent a team or teams from folding and will solicit players by posting these openings on our website. That is the only time we will accept registrations after the established cutoff date. This website provides ample notice time for registration of all sports. On our website, at the top of each sport page, it states the month of when registrations are held and the duration of the season. It is provided for your planning purposes.
All players will be required to provide a copy of their birth certificate for proof of age prior to the start of the season.

Limited Gymnasium Time for Winter Basketball!
Posted November 28,2021
We have always had to operate with limited gymnasium time and we will continue sharing what time we have with all of our basketball teams. This year is unusual since we presently do not have access to school gymnasiums. We were informed during the permit process that the Philadelphia schools and the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation were in negotiations with the assistance of City Council to find a solution for needed gymnasium time. They are still working on this. Hopefully they can come to a resolution soon.
We did have the option to limit the total number of players for the winter basketball season, but we felt it would be unfair to limit the opportunity to a few teams and players. Meanwhile we will move forward with the limited time everyone has in the Fox Chase Recreation Center. The Fox Chase Recreation leader has helped with opening up any additional time to ease the burden on coaches and the players with limited practice time. Other sports groups who used the gymnasium for many years also had to limit practice time to ensure that more children had an opportunity to play. Unfortunately we too have to sacrifice practice time this year for game time as well.
In addition, this is truly a trying time for youth sports with the managing of the Philadelphia COVID-19 mandates and insuring a safe environment for our players.
The Fox-Rok Athletic Association is committed to providing organized athletic programs for the benefit of the children of our community. The goal of the association is to promote children's involvement, social skill development and athletic achievement in an atmosphere of good sportsmanship as we help to prepare the children for adulthood. The decisions of the association shall focus on providing what is in the best interests of the children of our community. The principles and philosophies shall be guided by the association's motto: "Where Kids Come First."
