Community Picnic on Thursday, August 24 being held from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM held at the Fox Chase Recreation Center, 7901 Ridgeway Street.  Come out and join State Senator Christine Tartaglione for free refreshments, child fingerprinting (by the Philadelphia Police Department and back-to-school giveaways.  Children need to be present to receive a back pack.  For more information please contact the Senator’s office, 1061 Bridge Street at 215.533.0440.  The flyer can be downloaded here picnic_fox_chase_8_24_17.pdf.   

Fox Chase Town Watch - Next Meeting - Wednesday, September 13 at 7:30 PM

Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesdays of the month (although not all) at the Loudenslager American Legion Post (7976 Oxford Avenue), 7:30 PM.  Community meeting schedule for 2017:  January 17, February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, September 13, October 11 and November 8.
Town Watch is a completely safe and rewarding way to support our neighborhood, learn about policing standards and to meet some great people dedicated to preserving Fox Chase.  While a monthly commitment is desirable you can patrol whenever your schedule allows.  Let's preserve our community and keep everyone safe.  If you have an hour or two to spare, and if you want to make a positive difference, give us a call, we can sure use your help!

Everyone who lives, works, or has an interest in the Fox Chase Community is welcome to attend these meetings, even if you are not a present member.  In the event that a vote is taken, only current paid members will be allowed to vote.  Please note that you must reside in Fox Chase to become a member.  Make a difference by attending a meeting!

  • Bingo is back!  Every Friday starting at 7:00 PM!  Come out and see the new format including a weekly progressive jackpot.  The Ladies Auxiliary are hosting the games and they have made some changes you will like.  Regular bingo, special games, coverall and the new progressive jackpot game.  $2 per game for regular, special and coverall.  The bigger the crowd - the bigger the prizes!  The Canteen is open during games.  Sandwiches, snacks and refreshments are available. Bring your family, friends and neighbors for an exciting night of bingo.  
  • Canteen Open! The Post Canteen will be open every Friday evenings to members and their guest from 7:00 PM until closing.  Stop in and enjoy the camaraderie....and SUPPORT YOUR POST.  Sandwiches, finger foods and snacks are available at very reasonable prices.  Stop in for an enjoyable evening of good fellowship.  Not a member?  Stop in and join!
  • The Canteen will be open every Friday evening from 7:00 PM until ?, during the months of July and August.  Please stop in and enjoy the cold drinks and the comradeship.
